Also, instructions for preserving fruits, and the making of jellies, syrups, wines, sweet waters, and powders. Volume Two contains instructions for cooking meat as well as recipes for various kinds of pies, puddings and breads, and ways to pickle fruits and vegetables, and to prepare seafood stews and miscellaneous broths.
